The construction method of activated carbon prefilters ensures the maximum possible water supply since the chemical agent, inside the filter, is in granule form.

It is used as a carbon prefilter in water coolers with a filtration system and as a final stage (fifth) in under-counter reverse osmosis systems (post carbon filter). Also suitable as a refrigerator filter.
