The membrane is installed in series as the final stage in under-counter filtration systems and provides effective microfiltration of solid particles as well as cysts, parasites, certain bacteria, and microorganisms that may contaminate tap water. It does not remove beneficial trace elements from the water.

Ideal as an addition or replacement for under-counter filtration systems, water coolers, etc.
